You don't have to follow the entire guide or download everything it says, i skipped most of the russian site mods myself, and stay away from oblivion reloaded, its not a simple thing to set up currently. Some things have changed in the modding guide since this video was posted but its not that important, mostly new texture packs. Then Follow this guide, use wrye bash mod manager as the guide suggests. Now, if you want to mod the game in 2020, stop using obmm, delete it you don't need it for anything. You can choose the install folder during install on steam.
Now proceed to install oblivion -NOT- within programfiles(x86) because it can cause issues with windows rights issues with specific mod managers and tweaks you will be applying to the game. You also should delete 'C:\Users\YOURWINDOWSACCOUNTUSERNAME\Documents\My Games\Oblivion' folder. Any files steam doesn't recognize will not be removed. Uninstall the game again, then navigate to the oblivion installation folder and delete it, for example my install folder is 'D:\Steam Games\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion'.
I haven't heard of uIntirior fix or water shader fix, are you just running random 'fixes' in hopes it will fix your game?Įither way, even if you uninstalled the game, remaining files will be inside the installation folder.
